Fry of Albarracín it is a Town placed in the most beautiful places of the Universal Mounts. It has privilege of shutting up in his term forests encantandores, merry meadows, creeks and sources, between which García finds Source, more remote origin of the deep Tagus.
The history of the nucleus we her already find in the Age of Bronze in town of the Castle dated concerning the year 1420 B.C. Of artistic interest it is The Monument to the Father García locates Tagus in the outskirts of Source (to scarce 200 meters) in the term municipally of Cold of Albarracín.
His author, the sculptor rubielano José Gonzalvo and it realized it in seventies of last century.
The Monument is a personification of the Tagus, together with a bull, one chalice and a gentleman, three elements that symbolize them in turn provinces of (torico) Teruel, Cuenca (chalice) and Guadalajara (gentleman), three provinces that come together in his environment.
From the monument of the Tagus to the birth of the river Cabriel one kilometer separates us scarcely
The nature proves to be rural and generous and to every step it impresses for the succession of mounts and meadows, accompanied by the numerous ones water river beds that give life to the creeks and rivers that divide of this one ground. (ftes. and text to see links)
