The Escriche town, also call in Corbalán Baronía of Escriche in clear reference to the title of the masters of Escriche, understood the called Wife's house of Escriche and the farmhouses of House Lowers It, The Spinal one, Fuen of the Watercress, The Hita, The Corner, Sun porch and The Peñuela. Escriche was a town and independent municipality up to the decade of years 70 of last century in which I happen to join the municipality of Corbalán. At present it is deserted (I go so far as to have some 130 inhabitants at the beginning of XXth century) and only different farmhouses come to the owners or lodgers to realize tasks agricultural, to take care of the sheep or cattle that grazes in them or to to hunt.
